Y4 Sound

As part of their Science topic on Sound, Year 4 spent an enjoyable afternoon investigating which material is more effective at muffling sound. The comparative test introduced new vocabulary - particle, medium and vacuum - and was also lots of fun. The children were able to speak about sound waves and also how our ears receive and make sense of sounds. Excellent Science work, Year 4.
