Science Club Week 4!

We finished our Science club sessions with 2 interesting investigations.

Spinema – what happens when two separate images pass your eyes so quickly that the images merge together to give one image. The children made their own ‘spinner’ and showed each other their designs. Sophie said ‘ My one looks like the butterfly is eating the chocolate’

We then investigated static magic! We used balloons rubbed against cloth to create an electric charge, and then used this charge to ‘move’ objects. With a squeal of delight Jack said ‘Electricity went on my balloon’ and Joe said ‘ My balloon moved the pen – it was magic!” Lots of fun, and lots of learning. Thank you to all the hard working scientists.
