Glorious Gibside!

Year 1 enjoyed a fabulous day out at Gibside on Wednesday. The sun shone all day and everyone had a brilliant time. We walked through woods, we worked in teams to build houses for creatures, we raced along the green lawn, we planted beans and sunflowers, and ended the day with a freshly picked strawberry.

Maira enjoyed the walk best – she said “ We had to be careful when we went on the little path because it was steep”

Grant said ” I liked walking all the way up the big hill”
