Travelling to Ancient Egypt!

Today we in Year 3 we became Egyptologists. We travelled to Ancient Egypt and went touring the Tombs searching for Artefacts. We found many amazing artefacts such as: Shabti figures, a wooden Egyptian pillow, a bronze mirror, an Amulet which represented Horus – a powerful Egyptian God, some decorative jewellery, some Khol – Black makeup for the eyes, a board game called Senet, a Percussionists instrument and a Flail which was a symbol of God Osiris. We had great fun exploring and are looking forward to learning about the Ancient Egyptians this term.
