St Michael’s Choir
What a brilliant day! St Michael’s choir performed ‘When I Grow Up’ at Whitley Bay Playhouse this afternoon to help raise funds for the Smile for Life charity. The choir had a blast and performed with smiles on their faces. Your teachers are very proud of you! Well done St Michael’s choir!

Year 4 Visit
Year 4 enjoyed meeting the author Cressida Cowell on Thursday. She spoke about her love of reading, and how she used nature to inspire her stories. She encouraged everyone to write, once a week, without a teacher marking it - this way you can write freely and fearlessly. She spent time talking to the children afterwards, passing on her love of reading - and some of them had their books signed by her.
