Outdoor Poetry

Year 4 were working hard in the sunshine today, to collect ideas for their poetry. Their task was to study a daisy and write a description, using a simile.

Here are just a few of the wonderful descriptive sentences:

A flower as dainty as a ballerina.

Petals as thin as paper and as white as clouds on a summer's day.

A stem green like an emerald.
