Y3 Maths

Today in Maths we started looking at measuring the perimeter of an object. We discussed what the perimeter is – it is the outside or the edge of an object or place. We discussed various measurement depending on the size of the object. We then had a go at measuring various objects in the class and yard with our rulers, meter sticks and a trundle wheel. A trundle wheel is used to measure in meters and is particular good to use when measuring big objects or places.
