Year 3 and 4 began tag rugby training with the Falcons Rugby Club on Wednesday 5th June 2019. We learnt the importance of making use of the space around us. In three teams we practised ball skills which involved how to handle the rugby ball whilst running and touching down over a line.
We also had a lesson in healthy eating and discussed the health benefits of a balanced diet with all food groups. Year 4 will be planning a daily menu for a Falcon’s rugby player next week as part of their lesson. We are very much looking forward to the next session !
