Frog Pond

June 4, 2019

Today was an exciting day in Year 1 – we released the tadpoles from the tank in the classroom into the school pond.  We were very excited to see that one tadpole had grown into a tiny frog which hopped quickly under the water.  We also saw a tadpole that still had a long tail but had grown back legs.

Frankie said “ I loved looking in the water because I could see the tadpoles and frogs”

Lexi R Liked seeing the “ mini frog”  and Siem liked seeing the little frog in Mark’s hand.

Many thanks to Mark for his help.

We made sure that the photograph of the Mummy frog ( which is in Mrs Simonson’s pond) is watching over her babies!
