Animal Investigation in Y1!

May 9, 2019

A big thank you to Lexi’s Mum who brought in some animals for the class to look at.

We saw small brown frogs, a tiny fluffy hamster and a tarantula!

All the children asked lots of questions, and wrote about what they noticed and what they had learned.

Paniya liked the hamster best “ It has fur and small ears.  I learned that it is carnivore”

Kayden’s favourite was the Tarantula “ because it eats crickets”

Aizah liked the frogs best because “ they were gooey and slimy and also had a squishy red body”
