Today, Y5 had a fantastic (sunny!) day out at Jarrow Hall. They experienced life as an anglo-saxon. Firstly, they went round the farm and told the story of Beowulf around the campfire. After that, they looked for food around the village, before sampling some biscuits which were made over the fire.
After lunch, they had a go at weaving before throwing rotten fruit at Mrs Exley in the stocks! A brilliant day!
