Year 4 - Great start in Year 4

Year 4 has had an exciting start to the new academic year. On Tuesday 12th September, the children began their topic on Ruthless Romans by carrying out their very own archeological dig. Expertly, the children worked in teams and delicately used miniature trowels and brushes to unearth various artefacts from the ancient Roman era. The children discovered a huge variety of artefacts ranging from shields, spears to Roman vases! All had an enjoyable afternoon of learning! In science, the children have begun their latest topic on states of matter! The crazy year 4 scientists (pictured above) carried out an investigation to discover the properties of solids and liquids. Skillfully, the children then went on to write a detailed news report documenting their findings! Again, all enjoyed a great afternoon of fun and learning!
