The Eco-warrior group at St Michael's are very passionate about doing what they can in school to aid the environment and live more sustainably. The Eco Warriors wrote a letter to Mrs Chapman to ask if a compost bin and a water butt can be bought for St Michael's. We are so proud of our group of world changers!

This morning Year 5 their class liturgical prayer with our school community. The theme was support and how we can help those around us. Well done Year 5!

A great afternoon at the Y5/6 In2Hockey event hosted by RGS. Winning our group was a great achievement and qualifying for the final where we sadly got beat. However, we know represent the City of Newcastle in the county finals.

The girls had a great morning at the premier league tournament. The girls played some great football, scoring some amazing goals. They made the final where they unfortunately lost 1-0. What a great achievement girls.

The rugby team had a great time at the Phil Brantingham U11 7s event this morning. Great rugby and teamwork on display and they came away with team of the tournament. Great achievement boys and girls.

Year 6 visited RGS this week to complete a Computing workshop. The focus was on 'Crazy Mazes' and the children really enjoyed it!

Year 4 shared their beautiful liturgical prayer this morning, highlighting the importance of being loved, showing love and sharing love. They used their own experiences, relating them to Bible readings and ended with an uplifting song. Thank you for the fantastic support from parents, relatives and friends.

Today some of our children in Early Years went to Forest School. They looked for birds and then collected materials to make a birds nest!
