Children in year one have been learning to click, double click, drag and drop in their computing lesson this week! Children in year two in computing have been developing their debugging skills and continuing with their programming skills!
To celebrate the start of Lent, Year 3 discussed the importance of Lent and what it means. We then created artwork to represent the ashes in the shape of Jesus on the cross and bright colours to represent the Sacrifice Jesus made.
This afternoon NUFC foundation have been delivering a lesson all about our body to Year 3. Also, they had an hours PE lesson also delivered by NUFC foundation all about movement and balance. Every Wednesday we are lucky to have the foundation in to work with our year 3 children. We will look forward to this session.
To celebrate Shrove Tuesday, we had a Pancake Flipping Competition! One person from each class took turns to see how many times they could flip the pancake in 30 seconds! Mr Frankland managed to flip his 57 times - wow! During Stay and Play, Nursery made some delicious pancakes and decorated them with their favourite toppings. We hope you enjoy your pancakes tonight!
Our Green Ambassadors introduced the new recycling bins! We are all going to make an effort to recycle when we can. Together, we can make a big difference!
Miss Allison had such a bad headache! Livinia-Rose and Rayyan went to the freezer to find a ice pack! When they got there, they found something interesting… all of the carrots had been frozen by the Evil Pea! ‘Help get us out’ said the carrots. Livinia-Rose and Rayyan brought the carrots into the classroom. We decided to put the carrots in 4 different places, to see which ones would melt in the fastest time.
