Year 4 had an excellent afternoon exploring Cruddas Park library today. There were so many books to choose from and we even got to bring one back to school with us to read! We are very excited to start them.
Year 1 continued their investigation of senses, this week our focus was the sense of taste. This afternoon, our newly commissioned Mini Vinnies went to visit the residents at St Joseph's care home. We took reading books to read with them, and even created invites to give to them for our Carols by Candlelight concert. The boys football season continued tonight in the Bob Maddison City cup. We played a strong St Charles side, the game ended up 7-2 to St Michael's meaning we progress to the quarter finals. Well done team, a fantastic performance!
Our Mini Vinnies introduced themselves to everyone today! They had a special liturgy where they were given their Mini Vinnie badges. We are looking forward to hearing about what they get up to when they put their concerns into action.
Thank you all so much to those who attended the EYFS Autumn Spectacular! It was a great event filled with autumn crafts, delicious pizza and yummy hot chocolate. We even made bonfire cupcakes and marshmallow sparklers!
