Thank you to all the parents who attended the Topic morning today. Year 1 began their new topic – The Great Outdoors – and the children looked for interesting things in nature. They noticed the many trees we have and also the wild flowers. Back in the classroom they made beautiful artwork using the things they had collected.
Today, we said goodbye to our beautiful butterflies. We released them in our secret garden and watched as they flew away. We have loved watching them grow from teeny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies!
On Tuesday 25th June 2019, we took a walk around our Local Area of Elswick, as part of our topic!
