Today Emmanuel and Olivia represented the school at the Good Shepard mass at St Mary’s Cathedral. They presented a donation from the school to St Cuthbert’s Care also. The children also met Father Donnelly who was past pupil of St Michael’s; both children represented the school excellently.
Our wonderful Shakespeare Club pupils from years 3,4,5 and 6 were excited to be involved in “ Romeo and Juliet” alongside six other schools from the Newcastle area. They worked hard with the RSC director and performed brilliantly at Sacred Heart High School on Wednesday 22nd May. Their confident use of Shakespearian language and superb acting skills were a joy to watch by an audience of family members and teachers. Mrs Simonson and Mrs Clifford are very proud of you all.
Miss Hudson was at the Greggs’ Children’s Cancer Run today cheering on the thousands of people running for such a good cause. Well done to everyone from St Michael’s who took part, we are proud of you all. You’re effort and achievement will be celebrated in assembly tomorrow with Mrs Chapman. They stood in front of assembly to show off their amazing medals!
