WELCOME TO ST MICHAEL'S
RC PRIMARY SCHOOL
At St Michael's, we respect and care for ourselves and each other. We work hard and try our best to use the gifts that God has given to us.
We are a rapidly improving, happy school and a place where we are very proud of our pupils. In October 2016 we were placed in Special Measures by OFSTED. Since then we have embarked on a process of rapid school improvement which has resulted in significant progress in all areas of school life.
We are determined that St Michael’s becomes an outstanding school soon.
LATEST NEWS AT ST. MICHAEL'S
Aspirational Campaign- 'We Can...'
Over the past few years we have been inspiring our children to AIM HIGH and reach their potential. Last year we shared with them the 'Dream Big, Aim Higher' and ‘This is Me’ campaign. For the new campaign we decided to use the theme 'We Can...'. The purpose of the 'We Can...' campaign is to enable our pupils to recognise their own unique gifts and talents and how these qualities help to shape their lives. We are so proud of our pupils and everything they achieve. Please support our campaign by discussing these themes with your children at home.
Comment from one of our school parents:
'I would like to say a huge thank you to every member of staff at St Michaels, they have been a tremendous support to the children I have looked after. The children and ourselves have went through some very difficult, emotional, worrying and challenging times, the staff were always caring, supportive and helpful and in tune with the children's needs. Everyone helped to make a difficult situation more manageable, and for that we can't thank you enough'
Feedback from Greggs!
Just wanted to commit to mail how much I enjoyed the visit to your Breakfast club this morning. On arrival we were made to feel so welcome, the staff were amazing! Their dedication and genuine love for their jobs shone through, they really are fantastic ambassadors for St Michaels. The children we met were an absolute joy, and it was great to see them getting stuck into nutritious breakfasts and also chatting / playing with their friends, what was especially pleasing was how the different age groups interacted with each other.
